Sandra Medeira has a poem to be published in Antologia Lisboa vol.2!!!

Yes, it’s true. I wrote a poem inspired by Lisbon for Lisboa Anthology, Volume II, and it was selected. In addition to my first poetry book in Portuguese being released soon in Portugal, this is a contribution I am truly proud of.

Lisbon is a city that has always been part of my world. From my earliest visits to see my relatives who lived there, to my first experiences in its shopping centres, my university years, and later, visits filled with longing while I was living in Greece. Now I live in the Lisbon area, and whenever I travel abroad, it is upon returning—under the night lights and the setting sun—that I feel I am home.

As for poetry, I could not reflect on Lisbon without my Japanese inspirations and contemporary lyrical poetry, which is how my work is defined: where nature suggests emotions and thoughts in a simplicity woven with contemplation and intimacy.

I therefore invite you to read Lisboa Anthology, Volume II and discover my poem somewhere within its pages. And then, to discover my first poetry book, soon to be available in major bookstores across the country, titled Coração Selvagem – Fragments of an Imperfect Perfection, which I will be presenting in person very soon, you are warmly invited.
